President & Big Band Representative- Neil Brownless

Hi I'm Neil and I'm the Music Society President for a second year. I play Trombone in the Orchestra, Wind Band and Big Band. In addition to the Trombone, I play the Euphonium and the Tuba with a local Brass Band and have been known to make a cameo appearence in choir. In my spare time I like to sleep in Maths lectures, go to the pub and brew my own beer. I look forward to seeing you all in the next year.

Vice President- Charlotte Smithers

Hi I'm Charlotte, I'm going into my third year of my Psychology degree. I'm part of the choir and the orchestra and i play the oboe. Before university i played in the south down youth orchestra and the highlight of my musical career so far was playing in the Royal Albert Hall. My other interests include Cheerleading, shopping and going out with my friends. I think music society is great and a fantastic way to meet so many people from so many different courses.

Secretary & DMS Representative- James Dennis

Hi I'm James and I'm the Music Society Secretary and DMS rep. Born and bred in Wiltshire - no farmer jokes please! I'm involved in a lot of Music Society stuff this year- being the DMS Secretary, Choir Stage Manager and a general member of the Chamber Choir. I'm a second year Drama and performance student and a great lover of the performing arts in general, both in performance and appreciation - have performed in shows ranging from Sweeney Todd to Taming of the Shrew, self-devised pieces to classics. I'm really looking forward to the next year - Let the good times roll!!

Social Secretary & Chamber Choir Representative- Jenna Maloney

YO! I'm Jenna and I'm Social Secretary/Chamber Choir rep. I'm second year in drama and performance and my job is basically to currupt everyone by getting you all crazy drunk down the pub and having you wake up on a ship to somewhere ambiguous like Thailand or (dare I say) Gosport! :-O In my spare time I like socialising (obviously), ninja-ing it up in taekwon-do, skiing and coming up with new ways to prank the choir manager Zoe Croft (because it is REALLY funny, regardless of how much she may disagree! Muahahaha XP)) come join us, why not... You'll have a hell of a year ;P

Orchestra Representative- Will Sherwood

HELLO! I'm Will and I'm a second year English and Creative Writing student. My main role in the society as a whole is banging around on the timpani at the back of the orchestra and hammering away at the pianos in the practise rooms. However! I am also a bass in both the Big Choir and Chamber Choir (although when George sees fit he makes me a second tenor!) I'm also the Librarian for both Choirs. Along with all this I am also the BSO Vibes Representative for the uni so if you have any questions or general wonderings about the BSO (Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra) or about the Vibes then don't hesitate to contact me! I'm always happy to help with any problems fellow students may have with regards to Music (or English!) I look forward to meeting you in the new academic year which is looking so far to be a fantastic year!!!

Wind Band Representative- Zoe House

Hi I'm a current final year Maths student who plays the flute in the windband and orchestra. This year I will also be managing the windband. In my spare time I love playing badminton, shopping and you can also find me at the pub after rehearsals!
