Welcome to the University of Portsmouth Music Society, UPMS, one of many successful societies in the University, with around 200 members! There are 6 ensembles run by the Society: Orchestra, Big Band, Dramatic and Musical Society, Windband, Chamber Singers and Choir. Depending on the individual ensemble, concerts are given at the end of the term, with the Annual Production in the Spring Term as a joint venture between the Orchestra and Dramatic and Musical Society. Perhaps you'd prefer just somewhere quiet to practise? We have four practise rooms and two rehearsal rooms you can use- each room has a piano!
